Favorite Wedding Gowns Of 2015 ~ Part 1 Traditional Gowns

Hello all you lovelies out there! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and a Merry Christmas too! Mine was pretty awesome ๐Ÿ˜€ Fairly weird weather aside, it was a family filled day (week) of love & joy with little (and big) ones running around with the best food, so yes, not too shabby lol.
I am pretty excited for these posts! As these are my 1st “end of the year” posts. I started this blog in Jan 2015 so I was eagerlyย  waiting for it to be time to write them. What a year it has been in the wedding world. I would have to say the biggest trend of this past year was Color! Lots & lots of Color! Along with brides and grooms doing their own thing. Not so much breaking away from tradition or leaving the “old ways” behind. But incorporating them into their weddings and making new traditions that fit into their new lives together as a whole. And that’s what Marriage is all about right? Two lives joining as one living in harmony (most of the time lol).
And what a year it has been for Wedding Gowns! So, so many GORGEOUS Gowns! I have a love for wedding gowns of all kinds but I reeeeally seem to have an affinity for the unique, off-beat, not your grandmother’s kind the most. So instead of one huge post of all my favs, I’ve decided to make 3 smaller ones. #1 Traditional Gowns, #2 Affordable Gowns, and #3 Unique & Colour Gowns. Enjoy the eye candy! ~โ™ก

Pantone Color(s) of the Year 2016

Hello my lovelies!  I am really excited to bring to you The 2016 Colors of the Year from Pantone! You read that right! Colorsssss! For the 1st time since they started picking a “Color of the Year” (which was in 2000) the powers at be have decided on Two colors of the year.
Rose Quartz & Serenity

And I for one couldn’t be happier!

Aren’t they both just gorgeous??

When they announced the top 10 colors for Spring 2016 I was immediately drawn to both colors. They were my 2 favs besides Fiesta. Red is always #1 with me lol. And then when Pantone made the announcement for “Colors of the Year” , I could swear I heard the sound of wedding lovers everywhere squeal with delight! It’s the first time since 2006’s “Sand Dollar” that they’ve picked an actual pastel color. I’m already having a blast making a ton of inspiration boards lol ๐Ÿ™‚ Also the nod to gender equality is pretty awesome! I had a feeling Rose Quartz might be color of the year, especially given all the pink & blush color wedding gowns that are out there now. And pastel blue isn’t too far behind.
So what do y’all think ~ Love it or Leave it? Is 2 colors of the year too many? Or do you like more choices? I said it before & I’ll probably keep on saying it, one thing for sure is 2016 is going to be awesomely gorgeous! I can’t wait to see what all those talented lovelies cook up for our eye candy fix! ๐Ÿ˜€ Here’s some pretties to help you decide which one you love โค
