Dapper Inspiration Daily ~ #NYFW Favorites Part 2

Hello my beauties! Welcome to my 2nd installment of gowns from New York Bridal Fashion Week for Fall 2016. Part 1 (if you missed it) was all about the stunning “Princess Ball Gowns” that were shown off by some of my fav designers from their runway shows. This time ’round I’m concentrating on the 2nd biggest fashion trend I noticed. Metallic Lace & Gorgeous Embroidery.
Can we say “Satin, Tulle & Lace Oh My!!”? Honestly, some of these gowns are the most beautiful I have ever seen! Aaaand to make things even sweeter? There’s an awesome selection of color gowns as well! *Swoon Alert* Don’t get me wrong, I love me a Gorgeous Stunning White or Ivory gown as well, especially since those traditions run pretty deep in my family. But there’s just something about a touch of blush or champagne (or Red!) that makes me melt like butter! lol lol. But enough about me, let’s get to the gowns! 💖💖

10. Jenny Packham for David’s Bridal Fall 2016 Wedding Dress Collection
I was ecstatic when I read that our dear Miss Jenny was joining the likes of Zac Posen, & Vera Wang (whom my daughter wore this last Spring) as designers who have teamed up with David’s to make a line of affordable designer gowns! Aaaand, of course, they’re gorgeous! I think even the Dutchess Kate would wear these beauties!

And last but soooo Not least! My Favorite Designer of All Time!

#1. ~ Claire Pettibone ~

Claire Pettibone’s 2016 Fall Collection ” The Gilded Age ” – Exuding old-world opulence and the regal romance of the 19th century, Claire Pettibone’s Fall 2016 wedding dress collection took us back to the age of golden beauty. Pearl details, gold embellishments, heirloom fabrics and exquisite embroidery were modernized with unexpected pops of black and pink with scalloped hemlines and light tulle overlays. Creating a look that’s both unabashedly feminine and decidedly romantic these gowns will undoubtedly stand the test of time.

Dapper Inspiration Daily ~ Princess Ball Gowns

Hello loves! Happy new week to you! I hope this finds you all well & had a great weekend 😁
We are doing pretty good around here. Having family & friends over for the Big Game Saturday was a blast! (college football in case you’re wondering) Even though my team lost 😦 I had a lot of fun.

I’ve been watching all the gorgeously awesome wedding gowns coming from New York’s Bridal Fashion Week last week! Oh my, Oh my! Just truly Stunning groups of gowns after Stunning groups of gowns! And far as I could see, there were 2 equally stand out trends for 2016 brides. #1- Delicate Metallic Lace with Gorgeous Embroidered Details and #2- Romantic, Fairytale Princess Ball Gowns, like straight out of a dream. Some designers even meshed the two togther with some Seriously Stunning results! I sure don’t envy brides these coming seasons having to actually pick just one favorite gown! So many beauties can make your head spin & overwhelm even the most level-headed, organized Bride. So here is a list of Princess Ball Gowns by 10 of my favorite designers from last weeks’ Bridal Fashion Shows to help you weed through the masses 😉
And FYI my next post will be a list of my favorite metallic & lace beauties, so keep your eye out for that in a couple days!
Hope y’all enjoy! 💖💖

10 Blue Beauty Wedding Gowns

We all know the traditional wedding saying, Something old, new, borrowed & blue with a sixpence in your shoe. (Yes, that last part is really part of the original saying.😁)
And what I always found sort of funny is that the color blue is so deeply associated with weddings & traditions, but heaven forbid if you wear a Blue Wedding Dress! Well, Thank goodness things have changed a bit in the last decade. And wearing a color gown is not so frowned upon. I honestly cannot see a reason why your dress can’t be your something blue if that’s what you like?? All the bridal experts agree that you should have an open mind when trying on gowns, because “ya never know”. I would like to think trying on color gowns falls somewhere in that 😁.
There are really so many gorgeous blue gowns out there. So it’s a good thing blue gowns are a bit more accepted these days, especially with Pantone having 2 Blue shades in their Spring 2016 lineup.
